The “art” in being a Makeup Artist is knowing how to highlight and contour for maximum ooh-la-la.  We love to boast ” that you will look as good in real-life, as you do in your photos” because that too, is an art!  An editorial photo-shoot can be lit with very bright lights, and severe makeup tricks are needed for balance.  When doing makeup for an event that might be photographed, we use expert techniques which allow you to walk around looking natural, and photograph beautifully.

Here are some photos from a “behind the scenes of a photoshoot” from Kim Kardashian.

Isn’t it amazing?!  This would look “over-cooked” if the same makeup were used for an “in person debut,” but on film, it can be beautiful.

For bridal makeup we rely heavily on our airbrush makeups.  The pigments last all day, and feel like there is nothing on.  They are perfect for the client who doesn’t usually wear makeup, or is scared that we are going to over-do it.  We still highlight and contour, but with a mindful eye – We want you to look gorgeous and feel gorgeous, not self conscience that your makeup is going to melt off! Here are a few pics from our collection:

Natural in real life, beautiful in the photos, never cakey or over-done.  The rest are our trade secrets.
