Oh how I love the way my hair looks in an updo – so fancy.  I have taken the braid and bun fad to new levels by coveting every variation.  I used to religiously roller set my hair into rockabilly styles without batting an eye, but time is of the essence now that I have a babe running around, so back to braids and buns…

I’m not sure when it happened, but I wound up with an updo time limit – that is, a time limit to how long I can keep my “do” up before a raging head ache ensues.  Sometimes I feel great until I take it down, and then, whamo – pain, pain!  It certainly puts a perspective on the art of hairstyling.  I actually had to give myself a pep talk on my way home from an event to NOT take my hair down before making a stop at a store, to be brave and look fabulous, even though my head was done with bobbi pins indefinitely!

 Consider this my p.s.a.:
There is an epidemic known “tension headaches.”  Specifically for those who don’t wear their hair up often.  For those who don’t, I offer this advice:  ibuprofen. hahaha no, but really, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so consider it before your next updo… just incase your head has an unexpected alarm clock like mine 😉

*Please let your hairstylist know if a bobbi pin needs to be moved – we hear horror stories ALL THE TIME of bobbi pins gone wrong.  We are there to make you look and feel beautiful – it should not be painful – No “suffering to be beautiful!”*
Ciao Bellas!
how’s it feel?
