The roaring 20s – When shoe sales soared, because hem lengths shortened!  Long “Victorian” hair was cropped into precision bobs, and a ruby red lip color called, “Ox blood” was the rage.  It was a rebellious look at first, but so chick, that it swept the world and has survived as pure and wonderfully classic: The Flapper.

Here’s a similar look on Drew Barrymore.  The birdcage veil makes it a perfect vintage wedding look!

The classic smokey eye makeup is light and lovely, Not the uber-dark or colorful current trend. Instead of the eye shadow color, You notice her expression.  This would also look beautiful with a nude or light cranberry lipgloss.
